Dube AgriZone includes the provision of three dedicated packhouses, one for each of the existing greenhouses, which are operated by the individual growers active within this farming environment.

These packhouses have been designed for the management of all post-harvest handling requirements, inclusive of pre-cooling, washing, grading, sorting and packaging, thus ensuring rapid and immediate shelf-readiness upon departure from Dube AgriZone.

The packhouses, varying in size from 1 800 square metres to 2 500 square metres, also provide packaging production lines and related equipment, office space and short-term cold storage facilities.

The biggest of the packhouses is equipped with photovoltaic solar panels so as to reduce reliance on energy from the national grid.
